Outdoor learning that builds confidence, resilience and wellbeing for children and young people in Swindon and the surrounding areas.

Who We Are

We’re a Community Interest Company dedicated to helping children thrive through meaningful time in nature. Our sessions are built around play, exploration, challenge and connection.

We work with schools, SEND groups, youth services and home educating families to give every young person a chance to build confidence, independence and a deeper connection with the natural world.

What We Do

Our woodland and outdoor programmes are designed to support:

  • Emotional regulation and calm

  • Social confidence and communication

  • Resilience and problem solving

  • Practical skills and safe risk taking

  • A stronger sense of self and belonging

Every session is child led, inclusive, and paced to meet the needs of the young people who attend.

We use the natural environment as the most honest classroom there is one that offers real challenges and real rewards.

Our Values

We believe children learn best when they feel safe, trusted, and free to explore.
Our work is guided by:

  • Respect for the child

  • Respect for the outdoors

  • Equality, inclusion and kindness

  • Real experiences, not tick box activities

  • Building long term wellbeing, not one off moments

Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning.

Who We Support

Our Commitment as a CIC

As a Community Interest Company, all surplus is reinvested directly into:

  • Increasing access for families and schools on low budgets

  • Providing more supported/SEND places

  • Improving equipment and woodland resources

  • Developing new wellbeing and outreach projects

Our purpose is simple: widen access to the benefits of outdoor learning for the whole community.

We run sessions for:

  • Primary and secondary schools

  • Children with SEND

  • Young people who struggle in classroom settings

  • Youth projects and community organisations

  • Home  educating families

  • Families looking for meaningful outdoor experiences

We tailor our approach to the needs of the group, offering both curriculum linked and therapeutic-style outdoor learning.

Our Values

We believe children learn best when they feel safe, trusted, and free to explore.
Our work is guided by:

  • Respect for the child

  • Respect for the outdoors

  • Equality, inclusion and kindness

  • Real experiences, not tick box activities
